Pumpkin Oatmeal
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup milk
Boil liquids, add oats, simmer for a few minutes. Stir frequently. When nearly done, add:
- 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- dash of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger (or pumpkin pie spice)
Pour into a bowl, top with:
- 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- brown sugar (optional)
- splash of milk around the edges (optional)
